Meanwhile, the community that formed around Excursii din Caiac, set out to take the passion for kayaking trips to another level and to share with others the unique experiences on the lakes of Romania and beyond.
The mission of Excursii din Caiac is to discover the unseen nature of the land, the flora and fauna and to pass on the stories lived in and out of the kayak.
„I started with the inflatable kayak rides in which I took a friend every time to see the beauty of the mountain lakes that I am more and more fascinated with. One summer, a friend invited me to try a rigid expedition kayak on Lake Colibița. That was the zero point when I felt that this was what I had been looking for. Here I discovered the naturalness of rowing, the peace and the fusion with nature, which makes me exclaim every time: „Great are you, Lord, and wonderful are your things!”.
